A vivid presentation of a White Phoenix inspired by Chinese mythology, featuring a movable head, backward gaze, flapping wings, and a flowing tail, along with key design concepts and implementation steps.
The design is inspired from white phoenix in traditional Chinese culture-a rare and revered symbol of purity and sanctity. Believed to herald good fortune, miracles, benevolence, and peace, it embodies harmony, virtue, and the promise of a prosperous future.
This work builds upon my long-term development of a mechanical bird model featuring a wide range of fully controllable wing, tail, and head movements. I especially enjoy how this project brings together design, engineering, and artistic expression, combining them into a single magnificent bird.
